A selection of our latest weddings

Preparing for Nori and Martyn’s wedding celebrations in Hungary next weekend. Looking forward to documenting a wedding in a totally different culture that I have not witnessed before.

Laura and Gavin’s wedding at Knipe Hall and Lowther Castle in the Lake District in September. One of the highlights was the announcement in Gavin’s speech and social media simultaneously of a new arrival in February 2017. The photo below with them holding a printed babygro was the social media revelation.

Shirley & Peter’s vow renewal at Buxted Park in Sussex. Married for 25 years and still looking great, they decided to celebrate their marriage with their three children at this beautiful venue.

Emmy and John’s wedding in Swindon, celebrated with their super family of four girls and four boys!, many friends and family. Some really nice shots at Swindon RO and then the Golf Course where they held their reception.

An amazing rainbow colour themed wedding with Kathy and Stuart in Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living where they were married on a bouncy castle in front of their guests. Many photo opportunities in this wedding for some really colourful shots…

Late June wedding with Andrea & Kevin, dodging showers in the afternoon in Bedford and then on to the beautiful Moreteyne Manor where we managed to get some lovely photos in between the showers. Andrea looked fabulous right up until the end of the photo session.

Latest wedding with Gemma and Jim at the beautiful All Saints’ Church in Belvedere Kent. followed by the reception at the Boathouse in Bexleyheath. Gemma looked stunning and was assisted by her chief bridesmaid the incredibly well organised and helpful Gemma, Jim’s Sister Sam (aka little Jim), Rachel and Tabs. A Routemaster bus took everyone from the church to the venue and provided some great photo opportunities.

Latest wedding shoot at the quaint 12th Century Church of St Mary in Kensworth with Amy and Mark. Amy looked very beautiful helped by her three sisters, Mark’s two sisters and her best friend, all six dressed in mint green. Amy’s bouquet and all the flowers were some of the best I have ever seen, all made by Amy herself who owns The Daisy Chain in Dunstable. Second shooter was Aidan, he got some great shots and was invaluable as the sheepdog for getting the 100 guests in place for the various group photos.

The main photo here is the ultimate wedding selfie, set up by Mark putting his arm up to my camera as if holding it. We managed to get the whole congregation in by using an ultra wide angle lens at 16mm keeping distortion to a minimum.
